We have been notified of the following summer courses which might be of interest to pupils & record them here for your information

Newtown Innovation Labs (iLabs) is a not-for-profit, community learning space located on campus in Newtown Secondary School in Waterford. Inspired by Microsoft DreamSpace, it is a creative place for students to learn through hands-on, practical workshops in STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Mathematics).Funded by the Public Service Innovation Fund 2020, free online workshops will be available on 4th & 5th August, 11th & 12th August and 25th & 26th August. Separate workshops will be run for students and for teachers.Students, aged 8 – 14 years, will learn how to create motorised Scribblebots (Workshop 1) and use LED/Circuitry (Workshop 2). Teachers will be shown how to deliver these workshops online or in the classroom.

There are a lot of workout videos available online.

This is one that Mr Harte recommends as being good for all the family, particularly younger children.  It's about 15 minutes long.

During these particularly challenging times for families, the #GAAPrimary Challenges are designed to help Teachers and parents to work on the cross-curricular lesson plans with children to meet their learning needs. Gaelic games-themed lessons are across all curriculum subjects and are for children at every class level, based on the GAA Céim ar Aghaidh/Step Ahead resource.
